According to information received by the Hana Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, a citizen identified as Mohammad Vatmani, from Mahabad County, was detained by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received, security forces detained Mr. Vatmani at Shahrdari Square in Mahabad without presentation of any judicial warrant.
