According to information received by the Hana Organization for Human Rights, Hossein Yonesi, a citizen from Bukan, has been held in detention by forces of the Intelligence Department since the evening of Saturday, August 15, 2026, and no information is available to date regarding his place of detention or legal status.
According to information received, forces of the Intelligence Department raided this citizen’s home in the Amir Abad neighborhood of Bukan and, following an extensive search, detained him without allowing him an opportunity to change his clothes, and transferred him to an undisclosed location.
Since the time of his detention, Hossein Yonesi has been denied access to legal counsel, telephone contact, and visitation with his family, and efforts by his family to learn of his condition and whereabouts have been fruitless.
Additionally, as of the time of this report’s publication, no information is available regarding the legal basis for his detention, the possible charges against him, or the judicial authority responsible for examining his case.
