Yazd Prison / A political prisoner has been on a hunger strike for 37 days

Lack of attention to the unsuitable physical condition of Qader Mohamadzadeh

Hana; Qader Mohamadzadeh, a political prisoner from Bukan who is on a hunger strike for 37 day in a row, is in poor physical condition.

Reports indicate that prison officials are not taking care of his condition, and that pressure from the hunger strike has led to high blood pressure and severe weight loss for the Kurdish political prisoner.
The reason for Mohamadzadeh's hunger strike was his refusal to apply for leave and the confiscation of his bail. Mohamadzadeh is currently serving his sentence in Yazd Central Prison and has served 16 years in prison.
