According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, Shirzad Chavoshini, 35, and Khosrow Karam Pouri, 34, both residents of Baneh County, were arrested at their homes by Intelligence Department forces on October 3 and 7, 2026 (11 and 15 Mehr 1405), respectively, without the presentation of any judicial warrant.
Several days after their arrests, their whereabouts remain unknown. Both men have been denied the right to contact and meet with their families, as well as access to a lawyer.
Shirzad Chavoshini had previously been injured in a shooting by military forces in border areas.
It should be noted that, as of the publication of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests or the charges brought against these two individuals.
