Two women, Fatemeh Lotfi, 46, and Zahra Shahbazi, 26, were shot dead in the Pardis neighborhood of Kermanshah on the evening of Sunday, October 4, 2026, according to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization.
The shooting, according to information Hana has received, followed an escalating family dispute. Amirali Shahbazi, 18, a member of the same family, has been identified as the principal suspect.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene after the shooting, and as of this report’s preparation, no official or verifiable information has been released regarding his arrest.
