HANA Human Rights Organization has learned that on the morning of Saturday, June 13, 2026, agents of the Ministry of Intelligence raided the homes of two brothers, Sardar Rahmani and Ehsan Rahmani, conducting thorough searches of their residences and confiscating several personal belongings, including their mobile phones.
According to information received, following the searches, security agents summoned the two brothers to the news desk of the Kamyaran Intelligence Office. Despite reporting to this security agency, their families have so far received no information about their condition, whereabouts, or fate.
According to this report, Sardar Rahmani and Ehsan Rahmani had previously been summoned to the Kamyaran Intelligence Office and interrogated in 2025 for taking part in Nowruz celebrations and using Kurdish symbols.
It should also be noted that Sardar and Ehsan Rahmani are cousins of Kazhal and Danial Rahmani, members of a justice-seeking family from Kurdistan. HANA Human Rights Organization had previously reported separately on the arrests of Kazhal Rahmani, Danial Rahmani, and Issa Faizi, Kazhal Rahmani’s husband, as well as on Kazhal Rahmani’s hunger strike while in detention. All three have been denied the right to family visits and access to a lawyer since their arrest and are being held in solitary confinement in detention centers in Kamyaran and Sanandaj.
