According to information received by the Hana Organization for Human Rights, Loghman Qorbani and Mohammad Hajizadeh, two citizens from the village of Gawmishgoli, in Bukan County, were detained by security forces on Thursday and Friday, August 13 and 14, 2026, and transferred to undisclosed locations.
Loghman Qorbani was detained on Thursday morning without presentation of a judicial warrant. Mohammad Hajizadeh, 23 years old and the son of Asad, was likewise detained by security forces on Friday and transferred to an undisclosed location.
As of the time of this report’s publication, no information is available regarding the reasons for their detention, the possible charges against them, or the whereabouts of these two citizens.
Counting Sediq Karimi, Hadi Azizi, Shwana Diwazi, and Omid Chawbaz, whose detentions Hana had previously reported, the number of citizens detained in Bukan over these two days has reached six.
