According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Rashid Hesami, a teacher from Qorveh County, was temporarily released from Sanandaj Prison after posting bail.
Reports received indicate that the Kurdish citizen was subjected to torture and ill-treatment while in detention.
Rashid Hesami had been arrested by security forces in Qorveh on Monday, September 14, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to Hana, security forces entered his home without presenting a judicial warrant, searched the premises, and forcibly arrested him.
