Hiwa Abdollahi to transferred to Mahabad Central Prison Following Two Weeks of Detention in Orumiyeh

According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, Hiwa Abdollahi, a civil activist and martial arts coach from Mahabad, was transferred to Mahabad Central Prison after approximately two weeks of detention by Revolutionary Guards intelligence forces.

According to this report, Hiwa Abdollahi was arrested by Revolutionary Guards intelligence forces at his workplace in Mahabad on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, without the presentation of any judicial warrant. He was subsequently transferred to the detention center of this agency in Orumiyeh.
