According to reports received by HANA Human Rights Organization, Arman Faraji, son of Abdollah and Soheila, a farmer from the village of Nesareh Olya in Divandareh County, was arrested by security forces on Saturday, July 4, 2026, and taken to an undisclosed location.
Security agents arrested him around 9 a.m. while he was working in the fields, presenting no warrant or judicial documentation of any kind, according to information received. The only reason they gave verbally for the arrest, according to available information, was his activity on social media.
As of this report, no official body has said anything about the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, which agency is holding him, or where he is being kept. Nothing is known either about whether he has access to a lawyer, has been able to contact his family, or has been afforded any of his other legal rights while in detention.
