According to information received by Hana Human Rights Organization, Abdullah Amini and Rahim Haghparast, two residents of Saqqez, have been released on bail.

Amini and Haghparast were arrested on Thursday, October 8, 2026 (16 Mehr 1405), along with five other individuals identified as Seyed Mohammad Saleh Hosseini, Mohammad Hakimpour, Mostafa Ghaderi, Khaled Rahimi, and Hossein Abdollahi, by security forces in Saqqez.

According to the reports received, following their arrests, the two men and the other detained individuals were subjected to physical assault by officers at the Intelligence Department’s detention facility in Saqqez.

As of the time this report was prepared, no information was available regarding the reasons for their arrests, the charges brought against them, or the status of the five other individuals who remain in detention.

It should be noted that all seven individuals are residents of Saqqez and members of two mountaineering groups known as “Halo” and “Chiai Sawzi Saqqez.”
