According to Hana, despite the passage of three days since the arrest of Arian Tarvand, a 21 year old citizen from Mehran in illam province, no precise information is available regarding his condition and fate.
Based on received information, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, IRGC Intelligence forces raided this citizen’s family home and violently arrested him, transferring him to an unknown location.
It should be noted that as of the publication of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges raised against Arian Tarvand. It has also been reported that since his arrest, this citizen has been deprived of contact with his family, visitation rights, and access to a lawyer.
Arian Tarvand is the cousin of Saeed Tarvand, a 33 year old citizen from Mehran who was killed by direct fire from security forces on the evening of January 8, 2026, during the protests in Abadan.
