HANA Human Rights Organization has learned that four citizens from Piranshahr and Mahabad have been temporarily released from prison on heavy bail, after months of arbitrary detention.
According to information received, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, three citizens from Piranshahr, Ezzeddin PasoPish, Shahram PasoPish, and Sabah Bivare, were each released on bail of two billion tomans, pending the conclusion of their judicial proceedings.
Also on the same day, Jalal Alavi, a citizen from the village of Kusa Kahriz in Mahabad County, was temporarily released after 100 days in detention, upon payment of ten billion and five hundred million tomans in bail.
According to information received, Jalal Alavi was arrested by security forces in the early hours of Friday, March 20, 2026, without any judicial warrant, and transferred to one of the security detention facilities. Throughout his detention, his family was kept in the dark about his whereabouts and condition.
At the time of this report, no information is available regarding the judicial proceedings in the cases of these four citizens or the charges brought against them.
