According to reports received by HANA Human Rights Organization, Manizheh Khoshnoud, a 58-year-old citizen from Bukan who had previously been arrested by security forces on May 26, 2026, has been temporarily released from prison upon the issuance and payment of a bail order.
According to information received, following her arrest she was transferred to one of the security detention facilities in Urmia, and in recent days was granted temporary release pending the conclusion of her judicial proceedings, upon payment of a two billion toman bail.
Despite her temporary release, no official information has been provided by judicial or security authorities regarding the reasons for her arrest, the charges brought against her, the status of her case, or the body handling it. The legal basis for her detention and the current state of her case therefore remain unclear.
Manizheh Khoshnoud has previously been arrested and subjected to security agency action on prior occasions.
