Kumar Daroftadeh, a 16-year-old boy from Piranshahr, was shot and severely wounded at close range—about three meters away—by the Islamic Republic’s repressive forces near Owraz Square in Piranshahr on October 30, 2022, during the nationwide protests against the state killing of Jina Amini.
Kumar later died from the severity of his injuries at Khomeini Hospital in Piranshahr.
