According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Monday, September 28, 2026, Ebrahim Kalshi, a worker from Balo village in Orumiyeh County, died after falling from a height while carrying out construction work.
According to the report, he fell from a height while working at a construction site and died as a result of the severity of his injuries.
The incident once again highlights workplace safety conditions and the continued violations of workers’ rights. The lack of standard safety equipment, inadequate oversight of the implementation of occupational safety regulations, and disregard for safety requirements in workplaces are among the main factors contributing to fatal workplace accidents.
