Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, Sohrab Bahrami, a civil activist from Sanandaj, was released from custody on bail after approximately three months of detention and two extensions of his detention order.
According to gathered information, the civil activist was arrested on January 25, 2026, following a raid on his private residence by security forces. The arrest was conducted without a judicial warrant, and he was subsequently transferred to an unknown location.
It is worth noting that Sohrab Bahrami is a prominent civil activist who has a prior history of summonses and security-related confrontations due to his civil and social activities.
