Hana: On Thursday July 8, 2021, two people were killed near the Saif border in the village of Bastam by an unexploded mortar shell during the Iran-Iraq war.
The two men were engaged in livestock farming in the area and were sitting by a spring at the time of the incident when they were killed by a sudden explosion of a mortar shell.
The identity of one of the victims is Rashid Ahmadzadeh, a resident of Qaranjeh village in Bokan city.
