Hana: On Wednesday, August 31, 2022, a female Kurdish citizen with the identity of Marzia Moradavisi, an activist for the rights of fired teachers and a member of the Kurdistan Zhianava campaign, after being summoned to the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court, was sent to a correctional center for the execution of the sentence.
Marzieh Moradavisi was sentenced to two years in prison on the charge of "propaganda against the regime, organizing the Kurdistan Zhianava campaign and cooperating with one of the Kurdistan opposition parties of the Iranian government" in Sanandaj Revolutionary Court on Thursday, May 19. The sentence was reduced to five months of imprisonment and four years of suspended imprisonment by the appeals court in Sanandaj city.
It should be noted that the mentioned was arrested by the security forces on Wednesday, April, 24, 2021, without a court order, and after the interrogation was completed, she was temporarily released from prison by posting bail.
