According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, a worker identified as Rahman Saeedi, a married father of two from Bawan village in the Somabradost area of Orumiyeh, died after falling from a height while working in the Golshahr neighborhood of Orumiyeh.
According to the information received, Rahman Saeedi fell from a height while working at a construction project and died as a result of the severity of his injuries.
It is worth noting that the continued occurrence of fatal workplace accidents in Iran reflects serious shortcomings in compliance with safety standards, inadequate oversight, and structural disregard for workers’ right to life and physical safety. This constitutes a clear violation of their fundamental rights.
