According to newly received information from the Hana Human Rights Organization, Nima Ahmadi, a citizen from Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces approximately 20 days ago and has remained in detention ever since.
Nima Ahmadi has previously been arrested and imprisoned in connection with the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising. On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, coinciding with the third anniversary of Jina Amini’s death, he was arrested by security forces at the entrance to Aichi Cemetery in Saqqez.
According to a report published by the Hana Human Rights Organization at the time, an informed source stated that security forces beat Nima Ahmadi during his arrest and rendered him unconscious by striking him with batons. He was subsequently released temporarily after posting bail.
Now, approximately 20 days after his latest arrest, no precise information is available regarding Nima Ahmadi’s place of detention, his condition, or any potential charges brought against him.
