Three drones struck the Azadi Camp of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, near the city of Koya in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, in the early hours of Monday, September 28, 2026, according to information received by the Hana Organization for Human Rights.
The attack lasted from 1:40 to 2:10 a.m., and several homes belonging to the families of party members were hit.
Azadi Camp sits near the city of Koya and is home to a large number of families of members of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan.
