HANA stresses that all aspects of this case, including the cause and exact time of death and the identity and possible responsibility of the perpetrator or perpetrators, must be fully established, and the findings of the investigation made available to the victim’s family and the public without delay. Furthermore, if a crime is confirmed, those responsible, including anyone who may have ordered it, must be prosecuted and held accountable through fair proceedings in accordance with international law.
