Hana Report on the Detention of a Married Couple in Sanandaj with Their Location Unknown

According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Fereydoun Namdari, a fifty five year old resident of Sanandaj, and his wife, Sholeh Rouhi, were apprehended by Intelligence Department forces on Sunday, September 6, 2026, and transferred to an undisclosed location.

Based on incoming reports, Fereydoun Namdari was initially arrested at his workplace in the presence of approximately fifteen Intelligence Department operatives. According to sources affiliated with Hana, the agents executed the arrest utilizing physical violence and entirely failed to present a judicial warrant.

Following this initial apprehension, the intelligence forces raided the residence of the couple. After conducting a thorough search of the premises, they proceeded to arrest Sholeh Rouhi as well.

Since their detention, there has been absolutely no information regarding the whereabouts or physical condition of these two citizens, and all continuous efforts by their family to obtain answers have proven entirely fruitless. Furthermore, it remains completely unclear whether they have been permitted any form of communication with their relatives, access to legal counsel, or visitation rights.
