According to information received by HANA Human Rights Organization, Emad Mostafaei, a 20-year-old Sunni religious activist from Javanrud, was arrested by Intelligence Office forces on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
Following his arrest, he was transferred to one of the security detention facilities in Kermanshah. The reasons for his arrest, any possible charges, and which body is handling his case have not yet been disclosed.
Despite repeated efforts, his family has no information about his exact whereabouts or his physical and legal condition.
