According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as “Shoresh Satarzadeh,” a resident of Chapan alya village in the Ziviyeh district of Saqqez county, was executed in Sanandaj Central Prison.
According to the received reports, this prisoner was arrested 18 years ago on charges of “premeditated murder” and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
