According to information received by HANA Human Rights Organization, the death sentence of Sardar Qaderi, a prisoner from Mahabad, was carried out at Orumiyeh Central Prison in the early hours of today, Saturday, July 25, 2026.
Sardar Qaderi, from the village of Gapis in Mahabad County, was married and had one child. He was arrested about five years ago, on January 10, 2022, following a dispute over property that led to a fight, on a charge of killing Jvamir Aryaei, and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
As of this report, the execution has not been announced by any official body of the Islamic Republic.
