According to information received by the Hana Organization for Human Rights, six citizens from the village of Ney, in Marivan County, were detained by forces of the IRGC Intelligence Organization on Thursday, August 6, 2026. As of this report’s compilation, no information is available regarding their place of detention or condition.
The identities of these citizens have been confirmed as Peshtiwan Tatar (son of Mohammad), Zanyar Aswar (son of Abdullah), Hawre Parvaz (son of Abdullah), Saro Roshani (son of Shawkat), Saman Khosravi (son of Omar), and Arya Maroufi (son of Ata).
According to information received by Hana, IRGC intelligence forces entered the village of Ney using private vehicles and without presenting a judicial warrant, and detained the six citizens. Following their transfer, the detained individuals have been rendered inaccessible to their families, with neither the reason for their detention nor their place of confinement disclosed.
Despite efforts by the families to pursue the matter, neither security nor judicial authorities have to date provided any explanation regarding the whereabouts, condition, or possible charges against these citizens.
