According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Amir Yousefi, a resident of Salamat village in Bukan county, was temporarily released on a bail of 3.5 billion tomans after 21 days in detention.
Mr. Yousefi is married and the father of two children.
Based on the report, Mr. Yousefi was arrested by security forces in Bukan on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Following a one-day holding period in the Bukan detention center, he was transferred to a security detention facility in Orumiyeh.
According to received data, he was transferred back from the Urmia security facility to the Bukan detention center on Monday, June 1, 2026, and was ultimately released on bail a day later.
