Hana: On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, security forces in Bukan arrested a Kurdish citizen identified as Amir Yousefi, a resident of Salamat village, and transferred him to a security detention facility.
According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, the arrest was carried out without a judicial warrant. Following his initial detention, Mr. Yousefi was held in a Bukan detention center for one day before being moved to a security facility in Orumiyeh.
