HANA Human Rights Organization has learned that on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, a citizen identified as Ali Shokri, 50 years old, a cultural activist from Bukan, was arrested by security forces at his workplace and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received, the arrest was carried out without any judicial warrant.
Reports indicate that following his arrest, he was transferred to one of the security detention facilities in Orumiyeh for interrogation.
