According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Abed Alizadeh, a media activist from Tekab, was temporarily released from Miandoab prison on a two billion toman bail on Saturday, September 12, 2026, after 25 days in detention.
During his time in detention, this media activist spent 13 days in a Revolutionary Guards detention center in Orumiyeh and 12 days in Miandoab prison. Initially, a bail amount of four billion tomans was set for his temporary release, which was later reduced to two billion tomans, allowing for his release upon payment.
According to reports received by Hana, Abed Alizadeh was subjected to physical abuse and torture while held in the detention center.
