Shortages of Infant Formula Disrupt the Nutritional Supply for Infants in Zahedan

According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, October 29, 2026, a shortage of infant formula in Zahedan has made it difficult for families with infants to meet their children’s nutritional needs.

According to Haalvsh, the shortage of this essential food product has made it difficult for Baloch families to obtain the formula their infants require. In response, residents have called on the relevant authorities to take immediate action, ensure an adequate supply of infant formula, and monitor its distribution in pharmacies across Zahedan.

Consistent access to infant formula is essential for infants and children who depend on it. Disruptions in its supply can jeopardize their health and nutritional well-being.
