According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Ahmad Abast, a worker from Darreh Nakhi village in Sarvabad county, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, after 15 days of hospitalization in Sanandaj due to severe injuries sustained from a fall from a height.
According to received information, this worker fell from scaffolding while working approximately two weeks ago and was severely injured. Following the incident, he was transferred to the hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to his critical condition, but despite ongoing medical treatment, he passed away on Monday.
Ahmad Abast was married and the father of a young child.
