January Protests /
According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, Dr. Mojtaba Routivand (Ghiyasvand), a native of Soukhtechinar village in the Tarom Sofla district of Qazvin Province and a resident of Khademabad, Shahriar, in Alborz Province, lost his life during the popular protests in this city as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It should be noted that Dr. Mojtaba Routivand (Ghiyasvand) was married and the father of a five-year-old son and a three-year-old daughter.
