According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in recent days, a citizen identified as Rasoul Yousefi-Azar, a resident of Bafrovan village in Mahabad County, has been transferred to Mahabad Prison to begin serving a five-month prison sentence.
It is worth noting that approximately two years ago, the citizen was arrested by security forces on charges of cooperating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties in Iran. He was released on bail after 40 days in detention.
