According to the received report, the death sentence was issued for four Kurdish political prisoners named “Wafa Azarbar, Mohammad Faramarzi, Pejman Fatehi and Mohsen Mazloum”.
Based on this report, the intelligence agency made every effort to quickly execute the sentence of these four prisoners, and according to the information obtained, the execution of the death sentence of these four political activists has been approved by the Supreme Court.
Masoud Shamsnejad, appointed lawyer of four Kurdish political prisoners, wrote on his X page; "Since I accepted the representation of the families of these four prisoners, unfortunately, neither my clients nor I had their rights, it was only on paper and endless running, I do not consider the trial process and the final sentence of death to be fair and just."
On July 23, 2022, the news of the arrest of these four political activists, members of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan, "Wafa Azarbar, Mohammad Faramarzi, Pejman Fatehi, and Mohsen Mazloum" was published in Orumiyeh, and after several months of no news, on "October 12, and And on December 5, 2022, the official media of the Islamic Republic of Iran published a film and claimed that they "intended to explode in one of the sensitive defense industries in Isfahan", which these claims were denied by the families of the aforementioned and international human rights organizations announced that These four people were forced to recount such scenarios under physical and mental torture.
In this regard, Amnesty International also expressed its concern about the ambiguous fate of these four political activists in a letter to the head of the judiciary.
It should be noted that after more than a year and a half, these four prisoners have been deprived of the right to meet and have a lawyer. Even their whereabouts and the status of their case have not been disclosed to their families and family lawyers.
Hana Human Rights Organization expresses its deep concern about the possibility of execution of this Kurdish political prisoner and asks the international organizations and human rights organizations to try to prevent this unjust sentence and to try these prisoners in a fair process.
