The Hana Human Rights Organization has received reports that the death sentences of at least two Kurdish prisoners, identified as Rahman Mahmoudi and Jafar Mohammadi, were carried out at dawn on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in Bukan Central Prison.
Both men had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
As of this report’s publication, authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and state-affiliated media outlets have not officially announced the executions.
