Hana/ Two citizens from Marivan were sentenced to 17 months in prison by the City Revolutionary Court on charges of political activism.
The identities of these two citizens were identified as Hiwa Azizpour and Meraj Mortaza'i from the village of Diosnav in Sarvabad.
Allowing political activism and membership in political parties is one of the most basic rights of individuals in a society that is blatantly violated by law enforcement and the government in Iran.
