According to a report received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, June 10, 2021,
Frank Jamshidi, a civil and environmental activist in Sanandaj, was arrested after being summoned to Branch 4 of the Sanandaj Court to serve her sentence and to serve a one-year sentence. She transferred to Sanandaj Women Central Prison (Correctional Center).
Frank Jamshidi was arrested by the Sanandaj Intelligence Service on Sunday (June.28,2020) And was released on bail of 200 million Tomans after four and a half months and temporarily released pending trial.
This Kurdish activist was sentenced to 4 years in prison by Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj, headed by Judge Saeedi, in February 2021, on charges of membership in a Kurdish opposition party. This sentence was later commuted by Branch 4 of the Provincial Court of Appeals. Imprisonment was reduced to 1 year.
