According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization: In recent days, a 32-year-old citizen identified as Sahar Mahdi, daughter of Parshang and Abdullah and a resident of Saqqez, was detained by Intelligence Department forces and transferred to an unknown location.
An informed source told Hana Human Rights Organization that the arrest of Sahar Mahdi was carried out at her family home by Intelligence Department forces without the presentation of any judicial warrants.
The source added that more than a week has passed since her detention, and despite promises made regarding her release on bail today, she has not yet been freed.
Furthermore, during the arrest, security forces confiscated and took away the mobile phones of Sahar Mahdi and other members of her family.
It is worth noting that, as of the time of this report’s publication, no information is available regarding the reasons for her arrest or the charges against her.
