According to a report received by the Hana Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, Milad Tabad, a kolbar from the village of Gellyeh, in Marivan County, died after enduring, for approximately one year, severe injuries resulting from direct gunfire by Border Regiment forces.
Milad Tabad was 28 years old, married, and the father of one daughter.
On Monday, August 25, 2025, Milad Tabad had been targeted by direct gunfire from Border Regiment forces in the Tateh border area of Marivan and severely wounded in the head. Following this incident, he was transferred to Bu Ali Sina Hospital in Marivan and, owing to the severity of his injuries, was subsequently moved to a hospital in Sanandaj to continue his treatment.
