Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that in the early hours of Saturday, June 6, 2026 (16 Khordad 1405), Hirash Sharifian, a 17-year-old Kurdish minor from Palangan village in Kamyaran County, was arrested after reporting to the Intelligence Ministry’s local office in Kamyaran and was subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by Hana, agents of the Ministry of Intelligence initially attempted to arrest him by forcibly entering his family home in Palangan village and breaking the front door. However, upon finding that Hirash was not present, they instructed his family to immediately present him to the Intelligence Ministry’s office in Kamyaran.
Later that same day, Hirash Sharifian appeared at the security office accompanied by his father. Upon arrival, however, he was arrested and taken into custody.
At the time of publication of this report, no information has been made available regarding his whereabouts, the reasons for his arrest, or any charges that may have been brought against him.
