According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Ms. Abdollahi, a 56-year-old Kurdish woman from Sardasht and a longtime member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI), was subjected to a nighttime intrusion and threats by four unidentified individuals at her home in Nuremberg, Germany.
According to the information received, at approximately 3 a.m. on September 17, 2026, three men and one woman, dressed in civilian clothes, entered her home without permission. They searched the residence and verbally insulted and threatened her. Ms. Abdollahi has lived in Germany since 2010 and has approximately 37 years of political party activity. She had previously been threatened several times by unidentified individuals.
On September 21, following prior coordination, she went to the German police and formally reported the incident. German police are aware of the incident; however, as of the publication of this report, no information has been released regarding the identification of those involved.
Given Ms. Abdollahi’s political background and the history of previous threats against her, the Hana Human Rights Organization calls for a thorough investigation into the possibility of a political motive behind the incident and for German authorities to conduct an immediate and effective investigation.
Hana further emphasizes that any threats, intimidation, or attacks against opponents of the Islamic Republic of Iran abroad should be treated with heightened security and judicial scrutiny, and that the relevant authorities should take the necessary measures to ensure the effective protection of individuals at risk.
