Hadi Rostami, a prisoner sentenced to mutilation, was returned to Urmia prison

Hana; On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, Hadi Rostami, 35 years old, son of Nasser, with one child and from Ilam, a prisoner sentenced to amputate four fingers of his right hand, was sent back to Urmia prison from Rajaei prison in Karaj.

 

It is necessary to remember that on May 15, 2022, Hadi Rostami, Mehdi Sharafian and Mehdi Shahivand were transferred from Urmia Prison to Tehran Grand Prison in order to execute the sentence of amputating their fingers.

On June 12, 2022, Hadi Rostami was transferred to the Rajaei prison in Karaj after being beaten by the officers of the Greater Tehran prison. During the beating of this prisoner by the prison officers, one of his teeth was broken and his chest and nose were severely damaged.

Hadi Rostami, Mehdi, Shahivand and Mehdi Sharafian were arrested on 25th of August 2017, in Urmia city.
Until the moment of publication of this news, there is no information about the fate of the other two prisoners.
