On Sunday, April 26, 2020, a Kurdish citizen from Baneh was detained by Baneh intelligence security forces on charges of collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party , and was detained and tortured for seven months in the Sanandaj security detention center. He has been transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison
The identity of this 31-year-old Kurdish citizen is (Yousef Ahmadi) from the city of Baneh.
According to reports, this person was wounded by direct fire from security forces and detained a year ago, and has been held in security detention center in Sanandaj Central Prison for a year.
The Kurdish citizen was severely injured in the leg when he was detained and has never been taken to a medical facility.
