According to information received by the Hana Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, Arzhin Jondi, a 16 year old child from the village of Kopar, in Piranshahr County, was detained by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to Hana’s sources, Arzhin Jondi’s detention was carried out through a raid by security forces on the family home, without presentation of any judicial warrant.
It is worth noting that, as of the time of this report’s publication, no information is available regarding the reasons for the detention, the agency responsible for it, or the charges brought against this child.
The Hana Organization for Human Rights, expressing concern over this child’s condition, calls for the immediate clarification of Arzhin Jondi’s fate, full respect for her legal rights in light of her young age, and for her family to be granted access to the necessary information.
