The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that in recent days, a Kurdish citizen identified as Hassan Mehrabi, 42 years old and a resident of the village of Ni in Mariwan County, was arrested by plainclothes forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Mehrabi had been summoned by the Mariwan Governor’s Office to handle matters related to government subsidies. Upon arriving at one of the main squares in Mariwan, he was detained by plainclothes agents.
As of the time of this report’s publication, no information is available regarding the reason for his arrest or his current whereabouts.
