Hana’s colleagues in Sanandaj reported: Morteza Haghubian, a critical journalist, was sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison, 90 lashes and a fine of 10 million Tomans in Branch 104 of the Sanandaj Criminal Court for criticizing the performance of Kurdish managers, publishing government documents.
The conviction of this critical journalist followed his activity in the Telegram channel Amak (disclosure of the performance of Kurdistan managers), which was active in Kurdistan for two years in 2017.
He was also sentenced to three months suspended imprisonment in Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj on charges of propaganda against the regime.
Morteza Hagh Bayan was detained by the Sanandaj Police Intelligence Department for 80 days in 2019.
This sentence was announced for Shahram Amjadian, another defendant of Amak Channel, and the other defendants attributed to Amak Channel were acquitted in different stages of interrogation and trial.
This sentence was notified to him in the Sanandaj Branch 104 Criminal Court of First Instance on August 03, 2021
