According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, September 12, 2025, a construction worker named Behrouz Karam, son of Abdullah and a resident of Zindasht village in Salmas County, lost his life after falling from a building in the city of Orumiyeh.
Sources indicate that after the fall, the worker was transferred to Khomeini Hospital in Orumiyeh, but due to the severity of his injuries, he passed away.
It is worth noting that in recent years, the lack of proper safety measures in workplaces and the failure of employers to comply with labor standards have led to a rise in worker fatalities and injuries in Iran.
